The pattern has long been associated with a romantic tale featuring the “Wandering Sad-Eyed Lover,” with figures appearing among water, trees, pagodas, and other landscape details. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis little creamer captures two wonderfully detailed scenes. On one side, a seated woman plays a stringed instrument beneath a tree; turn the jug and a seated man fishes beside the water.
