ABOUT THIS PIECE
A slender natural wood twig is incorporated into the basket's structure, with the vertical wires looping around it to form the rim. The swinging handle passes through a second set of wire loops above the twig, allowing it to move freely without rubbing directly against the wood. On the underside, the carefully wired base converges into a neatly finished central hub, reflecting the basket's thoughtful handcrafted construction and durable design.

INSPIRATION
Originally designed for gathering eggs, the basket is equally useful today for harvesting herbs or garden produce, holding seasonal fruit in the kitchen, or displaying rolled linens or hand soaps in a bathroom.
