A vintage round handwoven bamboo rice basket featuring a fitted two-piece construction with a separate lid and base designed to nest securely together. Fine brown cord is stitched through the lid and attached to the basket body to help prevent separation of the two pieces, a traditional functional detail seen in Asian food storage baskets. The bamboo has naturally aged to a rich, deep brown tone. Lightweight yet sturdy, this basket reflects beautiful utilitarian craftsmanship.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. Minor wear along the lid edge consistent with age and handling. No breaks, structural damage, or loose weaving observed. Bamboo remains flexible and intact. Clean interior. Even darkened patina throughout.
