CONDITION
Vintage condition with age-related wear. The spout has a small hairline crack and gold wear at the spout opening. The lid is crazed and has a stained crack primarily on the underside, not visible when in place. Please see photos. Interior is clean and undamaged. Best suited for decorative display.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
This English teapot combines an octagonal form with an embossed basket-weave or trellis texture. Richly colored floral bouquets decorate the front and back, with additional flowers continuing onto the spout, handle and lid. Gold trim finishes the edges and accents the floral decoration.
INSPIRATION
A lovely display piece for a tea collection, kitchen shelf or dining room hutch, particularly where its cottage-garden florals can be enjoyed.
