Description:
A pair of vintage Chinese embroidered textile panels featuring birds and flowering branches, one worked on a pale gold ground and the other on warm rust. Similar geometric brocade borders in olive green and muted gold frame each panel. The embroidery is dense and detailed, with subtle metallic thread outlining some of the flowers. The slight differences between the panels give the pair a complementary rather than perfectly matched appearance.

The panels are unmounted and do not include hanging hardware. No maker is identified beyond “Made in China” labels on the reverse.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. No stains, missing embroidery, or fading noted. One panel shows a small area of sheen variation. The thin olive backing fabric shows subtle impressions from the raised embroidery work.
