ABOUT THIS PIECE
A vintage Chinese court lady figurine's face is delicately hand painted with arched brows, downcast eyes, red lips, and black hair accented with red. Her robe is painted in the traditional famille rose palette of deep red, yellow, teal, pink, and cobalt blue with peonies, geometric banding, and scrolling details.
Unmarked, the figurine is consistent with mid-20th-century Chinese export production.
