CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with no stains or holes observed. The embroidery colors remain rich and vibrant. The cloth shows signs of prior use and laundering and has some gentle waviness rather than lying perfectly flat after pressing.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
The embroidery combines cross-stitched leaves with slender stitched stems and small leaf details, using deep burgundy and muted coral against a warm cream ground. The restrained fall palette gives it a particularly lovely look on the table. The fine woven fabric is relatively lightweight and drapes nicely and the broad scalloped border is finished with narrow taupe machine-stitching.
INSPIRATION
A useful full-size tablecloth for fall dinners, Thanksgiving, or simply bringing autumn color to the dining table. The leaf pattern has enough presence for a seasonal table while still working beautifully with simple brass candlesticks, pottery or collected tableware.
