CONDITION
Very good vintage condition. Some light scratches to the painted design are visible upon close inspection. No chips or cracks observed. Gold accenting remains visible along the rim and within the interior design.

ABOUT THIS PIECE
The decoration combines densely painted flowers, birds, and butterflies with circular longevity medallions and crisp geometric borders. Pink peonies dominate the composition, while turquoise, soft yellow, iron red, green, and black create the traditional famille rose palette.

A gold foil label on the underside identifies the piece as Japanese porcelain decorated in Hong Kong, consistent with production during the 1950s and 1960s.

INSPIRATION
Display it on a plate stand on a shelf or sideboard, or hang it as part of a collected wall grouping. The pink and turquoise palette works especially well alongside blue-and-white ceramics, brass, and dark wood.
