Description:
A vintage Chinese-style export porcelain plate decorated with birds, peonies, butterflies, longevity medallions, and geometric scrollwork in a famille rose–inspired palette of pink, turquoise green, soft yellow, red, and black. The design combines transfer decoration with raised hand-applied enamel details, giving the surface subtle texture and dimension.

The plate was made using a common mid-century export process in which porcelain blanks produced in Japan were decorated in Hong Kong for Western markets. A gold foil label on the underside identifies the piece as Japanese porcelain decorated in Hong Kong, consistent with production from the 1950s–1960s.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Some light scratches to the painted design are visible upon close inspection; not prominent from a normal viewing distance. No chips or cracks observed. Gold accenting remains visible along the rim and within the interior design.

Approximate Dimensions:
10-1/2" diameter
Weight: 1 lb 4.3 oz (1.27 lbs)

Style Tip:
Display on a plate stand on a shelf or sideboard, or hang as part of a collected wall grouping. The pink and turquoise palette works especially well alongside blue-and-white ceramics, brass, and dark wood accents.

Books, plants, flowers, and other styling props are not included. Listing is for the porcelain plate only.
