CONDITION
Good vintage condition with scuffing, scratches, wear, and some small marks consistent with use. Dark patina remains in the recesses of the ornate border. The original paper label is faded and worn.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
This substantial silverplate piece is formed of twelve fluted sections and finished with an elaborate raised border of flowers, leaves, and scrolling decoration. The dark patina remaining in the recessed details gives the border particularly nice definition. The label identifies the maker as International Silverplate. This piece visually matches the discontinued Countess medium silverplate bon bon bowl documented by Replacements.
