ABOUT THIS PIECE
What appeals to me most about this tray is the oval shape, attractive rim, and the embossed roses, curling foliage, scrollwork, and elaborate textures. The raised rim has a rope-like pattern and is rolled underneath, giving it a smooth, nicely finished edge. Although not especially heavy, the tray has a pleasing sense of quality and proportion.

INSPIRATION
This is a particularly useful size for arranging smaller things. Set it on a bar cart with a pair of glasses, use it on a dresser for perfume bottles, or make it the base of a small arrangement of candlesticks and seasonal greenery. The raised gallery helps give even a simple grouping a finished look.

Styling props shown in photos are not included. Listing is for the silverplate tray only.
