CONDITION
Good vintage condition. The needlepoint is clean and intact with no stains, holes, snags, or missing stitches noted. There is some crumpling at the corners and fading to the velvet backing along the top edge. Original product labels remain intact.

ABOUT THIS PIECE
The detailed wool needlepoint depicts a white Westie settled rather grandly into an ornate armchair, surrounded by scrolling patterns, foliage, flowers, and other fanciful details. The muted tan, olive, apricot, pink, plum, and cream palette gives the scene much of its character.

The original label identifies the pillow as handcrafted by 123 Creations, Inc., with artwork by Elaine Vollherbst and a 2000 copyright date. The needlepoint embroidery is 100% wool with an 100% cotton velvet back. The included polyester fiber insert is removable through a concealed zipper.

INSPIRATION
This has just the sort of personality I love in a small accent pillow. Tuck it into the corner of an armchair, add it to a collection of smaller pillows on a sofa or bed, or let the rather pampered little Westie bring some humor to a traditional English country-inspired room.
